I have to say that it's about time you finished, and it's great you did everything you could to finish this series. Several animations of one whole series with voice work couldn't have been that easy. It's quite difficult for works like this to be considered decent despite not being AAA material. That still doesn't belie the work you put into this, and for that you deserve a lot of credit.

This was just incredibly bittersweet. It's all too easy to want a happy ending, but not all happy endings carry such an emotional impact. Betrayal, survival, and friendship are things that are definitely quite a punch to people when you work them into one. How Xero was forced to kill Omega at the end and live on his own. How Xero was finally going to join his friends after one last fight and leaving someone to fight for him in his place.

Really, it's says a lot when animation on a budget can still put a tear in your eyes, especially after all the action and fighting and the amount of testosterone in these works. I think the only thing I can criticize is how the voice overs were often drowned out by the sound effects, but it's not that bad an issue.

I honestly wish you continued to do more, showing the new character taking on the mantle of destroying the one responsible for this new world order. But that's on your own time and when you feel like it. Still, it's quite an amazing end to the series.

Congratulations on not only finishing it, but once again making the front page. You've earned it.

Sheds a single, manly tear*

Thanks for the review :D!

Glad you loved it, as I didn't want to go by the "they killed everyone and went for a few beers" kind of ending, so I took the gamble! (some people hated it haha).

A new Bunnykill was rather unexpected. lol

I have to say, I was not planning on seeing another Bunnykill after this, but that only made this one more enjoyable.

And it's a good thing you explained the differences in this one as opposed to the other one where a supposed character was already presumed dead. So that makes this less confusing.

I really like this approach in terms of the art style. The whole MGS and Grand Theft Auto-esque feel you have to it. It always seems like ninja are some staple in this series.

As for the ending, for some reason I totally knew it was going to happen when Snowball fought his friend at that point. I had no idea why, but I just knew it was going to happen. That didn't make it any less shocking to see, because you have a once untouchable character meet his match.

Anyway, can't wait for part 2.

An Excellent Masterpiece!

I can't believe how much time it took for you to make this, especially you doing most of the work.

Anyway, it was well worth it. One of the best flashes I could ever see, along with another all-star, Super Mario Bros. Z!

I loved the voice of Perfect Nazo; that is the most EVIL voice I could ever possibly hear, especially the evil laughter when he was transforming to his perfect form heard across the world! Hell, even some TV shows or Movies can't match that, IMO!

Man the fusion forms, their attacks (we know that Shadic's light-speed attack on Nazo OWNED!), and the ending...oh man, I don't know how to describe it in words!

You did an amazing job, and I hope you do best on any future works be it on Sonic, DBZ, or even your own.

Oh, one last thing...I get the feeling there is going to be something after this. That scene after the credits seems to hint that...if it doesn't well, doesn't matter.

Chakra-X responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie and thanks for the review! I love the Hyper Lightspeed Attack scene. Hyper Shadic was getting beat long enough.

That hidden scene was just to tease the viewers. I may or may not come back to this, but I do want to make my own original series.

Wow!

That was nice. It looked more so as if it came from Sonic Team themselves...

But yeah, that was amazing, may not be flash but who the fuck cares?

Just keep up the work man, I look forward to it. 9 hrs? Damn!

BTW, Super Sonic doesn't look very detailed like the other characters. I can't say it's good, but oh well.

DrSkippy responds:

Yeah i just noticed that super sonic doesnt look as good as the actual picture. I have a smudge on my camera lens which blurs him out sorta. Now i feel stupid. Sorr about that. For a HIGH RESELUTION picture to go my user page. I have a perfect scanned image on it you can look at.

IIII"M Black, ya'll!

That was funny as hell! I'm black ya'll and I'm black yall!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Funny as hell, and true in some situations

You know that makes so much sense.

Sega was just too desperate for mkaing the games more mature.

However, I have to say Shadow wasn't really emo to begin with, and he never cut himself (even though it was there for humor).

I mean look at it this way:
Sure, Shadow was hurt badly by having his best friend gunned down in front of him, but that's only natural. I bet he took it far better than you would.

Once freed, he didn't go sit in a corner and sob and grab his collection of razor blades to do some self-mutiliation. No. He started laying waste to the world's most powerful military as he got his hands on the ultimate power in the universe so that he annihilate the world in one massive orgy of destruction and revenge. That's not whiny. It's scary, evil, and totally freakin' insane, but it sure as hell isn't whiny. You sure wouldn't be insulting the guy if you met him. Particularly if you have a hint of self-preservation instincts.

Once he got rid of the whole insanity thing and *sigh* relearned his past, he still wasn't whiny.

But still, it was funny and made a lot of sense in some situations. Shadow was just butchered by Sonic Team, but all in all I still think he is a good character. The video game was not his fault, it was Sonic Team's fault, as Shadow has no control over what to do seeing as Sonic Team makes the decisions.

Anyway, I hope you finish this. It was getting to the good part to.

EvilDoc responds:

As for me, (Double A) I really like Shadow the hedgehog, I think It's my favorite Sonic game. I just like it when the plot is stupid and Shadow show is more like a parody and a hommage in the same time, Yeah I know Roger has Wrote something in the credits without telling me, about Sega and screwing up games, It's only true for ''doc'', ''evil'' dosen't approve it! and yes Shadow 2 is coming soon.

Impressively good work

Okay, I have to be honest: When I saw episode 1 of this it got too boring to me in the beginning and so I didn't watch any of the others. I didn't write a review of this because of the fact that just because I didn't like it doesn't mean others don't as well.

After getting bored, I gave this one a chance, and I was amazed!

So here's my summary:
Fighting - Now I've seen fights where it only has two sides going after something but a three-pronged brawl with three groups fighting each other? You've revolutionized fighting in a new form man, and I have to give you props. As for the DBZ rip-off: I like DBZ so there for I like this. Nothing, not even Sonic's Quest for Power, beats this, and that is something

Characters - You know how there are many people complaining about there being too many characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog series? If it were like this I bet they wouldn't complain. Just amazing. The way you made Shadow is also great.

Music - this is also great as it suits the theme of whatever the environment is.

Other - I don't know really what else to point out, as most of them consisted only of what I just mentioned. It's all good though.

Overall - Yeah, this has all of what any good flash should have. That's really all there is. When I saw the fights and stuff, I said to myself "the games should be like this". You really put some effort in this and it really paid off, keep up the good work Alvin-Earthworm!

Final note: Don't take the way I talk as being a nerd, I'm not really one anyway and I don't talk the same as the way I typed this review, but I just can't say "holy shit!" without coming up with a reason why. I recently saw another review that mentioned something about this being overrated. Heed this: NOTHING is overrated, that is just an excuse to hate something and say people are stupid for liking it when they're have their own opinions. Anyone who thinks anything is overrated and hates it has a severe Superiority Complex disorder.

That's all, and keep going man.

Impressive!

Okay this is so good just by looking at it!
If this is what Fear Unlimited is going to be like, I wonder how good Element Saga ch 6 is going to be like?

Keep it up, can't wait to play this game man!

Awesome!

I liked this flash, even if Sonic didn't win!
I don't know why I feel so bad about him losing, probably because I'm too deep a fan, but you added an alternate ending to where he did win so that kinda cleared it up!
I've seen Sonic die in Sonic 06 so it wasn't too bad of a problem before I saw the alternates!

Anyway, this is nice and you should do more of these things. But hey you don't have to if you don't want to!

Overall, this gets a 10!

Also known as ChaosSupremeSonic on SSMB for those who know the place. ;-)
